For the second year in a row, augmented reality company Blippar worked with The Mars Agency to bring an augmented reality experience to the Snickers and NFL “Rookie Mistake” campaign. This year, shoppers can scan a QR code on specially marked Snickers bars, select Snickers Ice Cream bars and in-store displays to load an augmented reality experience featuring Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker TJ Watt, who sits inside a Misfortune Teller booth. Watt will ask people to confess one of their “rookie mistakes” before giving them a fortune card that allows them to submit their mistake for a chance to win weekly prizes and a trip to Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas in February.
