Unbound collaborated with F. Whitlock & Sons to launch an immersive Web AR Portal adventure as an extension of the brand’s disruptive ‘Whitlock’s Tales of Delicious Demise’ campaign. This industry-first portal game, accessible through a virtual door in users’ surroundings, draws inspiration from classic escape rooms and revolves around the brand’s hero characters, Chip the Chipotle Pepper and Oscar and Rojo, the Fuego Chilli Beans. Players embark on a series of challenges, interact with objects, and uncover clues to earn rewards such as cash, merchandise, recipes, or products from the brand’s new range. The game also features four grand mystery prizes, where users must discover hidden numbers across portals to unlock a four-digit code on Whitlock’s treasure chest. Effect created by Unbound.
