Walmart is expanding its digital marketing on TikTok and Roblox. On TikTok, their “Spicy Summer” campaign targets the BookTok community with a Spicy Books Hot Sauce set and related products. On Roblox, Walmart’s new AR extension for Walmart Discovered offers immersive shopping, monthly virtual items, and avatar customization. BROKEN EGG, joined this project with Sawhorse Productions, 8th Wall, Flaunt, and Roblox for Walmart. They connected all parties and enhanced the technology. According to Justin Breton from Walmart, the project aims to bridge the physical and digital worlds. Users who purchase Roblox gift cards at Walmart can claim unique UGC within the AR project.
