With fans unable to celebrate the 2020 iHeartCountry Festival in Austin, TX, iHeartRadio partnered with AliveNow to create a gamified Instagram filter. This filter allowed fans to compete against country music stars by guiding an animated character across tour buses using mouth movements to control a drumstick bridge. Custom art, unique tour buses, and real-time scoreboards enhanced the experience. Additional social media assets, such as player cards and behind-the-scenes clips, boosted engagement. The filter achieved over 500,000 impressions and was played by 12,000 followers, contributing to 1.3 billion social media impressions and significant increases in social engagements and video views.
