FELGTB, a Spanish LGBTQIA+ organization, faced the challenge of raising awareness about the discrimination in 72 countries, where in six, homosexuality is punishable by death, without physical gatherings due to pandemic lockdowns. They launched the #RealVoicesofPride campaign on TikTok, allowing users to lip-sync to real stories of oppressed LGBTQIA+ individuals. This virtual Pride Parade on TikTok enabled safe expression and solidarity. The campaign, during Pride Week, garnered over 3.7 million views, 12 million impressions, and significant media coverage, continuing to grow and raise awareness about LGBTQIA+ rights violations globally.
