Danny Pimentel and his team from the Snap AR Scholars programme conducted an immersive pilot project in collaboration with the Oregon Reality Lab at the UO School of Journalism and Communication. They created an augmented reality (AR) lens for Hope for Haiti AR. The project aimed to bridge the perceived distance between donors and organisations like Hope for Haiti, making the cause more personal and encouraging donations.
