MTN Nigeria, a prominent telecommunications service provider in Africa, embarked on a campaign to launch its 5G service in Nigeria. By leveraging augmented reality ads on Facebook and Instagram, MTN Nigeria achieved significant lifts in brand awareness and message association. The campaign saw a 4.8-point increase in overall brand awareness and a 3.2-point increase in overall message association. Moreover, for male customers, there was a 5.7-point increase in brand awareness and a 5-point increase in message association. Through innovative creative concepts and immersive experiences, MTN Nigeria successfully elevated awareness and engagement surrounding its 5G service launch.
