In anticipation of the Sydney Football Stadium opening in 2022, Sydney FC teamed up with 7DX to launch an Augmented Reality Experience that gives users an interactive preview of the new home ground to explore. The experience was built to be true to scale, giving an accurate real world representation. Using WebAR, people can bring the experience to life through a portal to the Harbour City, with the Sydney FC crest spawning the AR stadium. Users can check out new stadium features, look at new maps of the local area and explore the new stadium from inside and out. When launched in a large enough play area, people can expand the model to a point where they can actually stand in the middle of the pitch. Effect created by 7DX .
