C&A’s 2021 Autumn / Winter collection has been launched in Europe with a virtual fashion show and AR magazine as a teaser for the event. For the launch of its new Autumn / Winter collection in Europe, C&A organized a virtual fashion show. They sent an empty magazine to the guests that came to life and offered an immersive AR experience. By scanning the QR codes with a smartphone, the story of the collection comes to life in augmented reality (AR). An AR experience in which each of the 20 pages tells its own story. With the cover coming to life, or a so-called AR portal that lets viewers discover the new collection in the middle of their living room. Viewers can also become fashion designers themselves by coloring a sketch and seeing it come to life in front of them in AR. Or discover the people and the ideas behind the collections through AR collages and mood boards. And to build up the excitement for the event, autumn and a countdown clock literally pop out of the centerfold in AR. Effect created by PLAYAR.
