As a Black-owned business, ROSE aimed to utilize their skills and expertise to create an experience that shines a spotlight on significant aspects of the Civil Rights Movement for Black History Month. In this immersive experience, users are invited to embark on a journey through history, gaining insights into major events that culminated in the passing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The augmented reality experience centers around traversing the Edmund Pettus Bridge, a historic site associated with numerous civil rights marches, including the iconic march from Selma to Montgomery.
